Frederick Country Day Montessori School (opens in a new tab) is an accredited, MSDE-approved private school located in the beautiful Dearbought neighborhood of Frederick, Maryland. Our purpose-built campus serves children from 18 months through kindergarten in an authentic Montessori environment.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Montessori Guide to join our diverse team of highly skilled Montessori-certified educators. We are looking for an individual who is committed to fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning while upholding our school’s core values.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A U.S.-equivalent bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (foreign degree holders must provide a recognized transcript evaluation).
• AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited Primary Montessori certification.
• At least one year of classroom teaching experience preferred; however, recent Montessori certification graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaborative skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children in a Montessori environment.
